We have released "Kamakura-bori Cutlery Set", portable reusable utensil set.

This is a set of a spoon, fork, and chopsticks that are made by the method of "Kamakura-bori", or Kamakura-style woodwork, that has a root in Buddhist sculptors who created powerful sculptors for samurai warriors about 800 years ago, and a straw that is custom made by a lacquerware artist who coats the bamboo straws with lacquer, comes with an indigo-dyed roll-up pouch to reduce single-use waste either when ordering take-out food or to use when eating out.
If you are the one who care about our beautiful planet Earth and respect the things that were made to transmit the techniques and spirit that have been passed down through the ages while changing form, based on local culture and history.
It is sold at the store "guri" located at the first floor of Kamakura-bori Museum on Wakamiya-oji Evenue in kamakura City, 5 minutes walk from Kamakura Station.
(Hours: 9:30am-5pm, Open 7days/week)
